People have been asking us to split announcements about Kubernetes itself from other projects, so I’ve created a new category under announcements called ecosystem, you can see it in action here [https://discuss.kubernetes.io/c/announcements](https://discuss.kubernetes.io/c/announcements)

This will give you the granularity to only get core k8s announcements, ecosystem announcements, or any combination of both.

From now one the main section will be official core k8s stuff only, if you’re working on something OSS and k8s related, please feel free to post in the [ecosystem category](https://discuss.kubernetes.io/c/announcements/announcements-eco) as it’s useful for users to know when related tools are releasing. 😃
