How does Kubelet retry if the request to container runtime times out

If kubelet fails to call CreateContainer to the container runtime due to DeadlineExceeded , what will happen next? will it retry? When will it stop retrying?

Are you asking if CreateContainer takes a long time, does it trigger DeadlineExceeded? If it fails, the lines below it get called.
