# Make InPlacePodVerticalScaling into beta feature

InPlacePodVerticalScaling has been in alpha since 1.27. Any ideas on when it will go into Beta. Its been more than a year, so would love it if it could go in 1.31 or is there any proposed plan for its beta release.

Any help appreciated. Thanks

I have found the release plan here  
[enhancements/keps/sig-node/1287-in-place-update-pod-resources/kep.yaml at master · kubernetes/enhancements · GitHub](https://github.com/kubernetes/enhancements/blob/master/keps/sig-node/1287-in-place-update-pod-resources/kep.yaml) . But it keeps getting shifted. So would love to see it prioritised to push to beta
