# Make Kubernetes respond to node downtime more quickly

Hi all ，Why after I shut down a node, the Pods originally running on this node will remain in the running state for 6 or 7 minutes. Then Pods are scheduled to run on other nodes。  
How to make Kubernetes respond to node downtime more quickly？
