# MicroK8s v1.20 released!

[MicroK8s](https://microk8s.io/) is a Kubernetes cluster delivered as a single snap package - it can be installed on any Linux distribution which supports [snaps](https://snapcraft.io/), as well as macOS and Windows 10. With a quick install, easy upgrades, and great security Microk8s is perfect for micro clouds and edge computing. Try it on your laptop!

```auto

snap install microk8s --classic --channel=1.20/stable

```

Most important updates since the last release:

- Kubeflow updated to v1.1
- Make MicroK8s [failure domain aware](https://discuss.kubernetes.io/t/high-availability-ha/11731)
- Addons can now use `--foo` arguments

Is there any way to configure the microk8s Windows installer to use a different drive for creating the VM? It’s defaulting to the C: drive, but I need it to use the D: drive. _(Apologies if this question belongs elsewhere.)_
