Problems with Core i7 Laptop and Kubernetes Minikube: Any Advice?

Hello everyone,

I’m having some trouble with my Core i7 laptop when running Kubernetes, specifically with Minikube. The main issues I’m encountering involve performance and stability. Here are some details about the problems:

  1. Performance: The Kubernetes cluster on Minikube seems to be running very slowly, even though my laptop has decent specs. I’m noticing significant lag in response times and delays in deploying applications.
  2. Stability: There are frequent crashes and unexpected restarts when Minikube is running. This is affecting my workflow and causing interruptions.
  3. Resource Utilization: Despite having enough RAM and CPU resources, Minikube appears to be consuming a lot of system resources, leading to overall system slowdowns.
  4. Logs and Errors: I’ve checked the logs, and there are multiple error messages related to resource allocation and network connectivity issues.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems with Minikube on a Core i7 laptop? If so, what solutions or workarounds have you found effective? Are there any specific configurations or settings in Minikube that could help improve performance and stability?

Any advice or suggestions on how to resolve these issues would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Best regards,
Olivia
