# Upgrade kustomize

Hi, I have Kustomize version v4.5.7, I wanted to upgrade to v 5..0 I found at [kustomize](https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/kustomize) but no indication if running the binaries will upgrade the current versionn or runs side by side? Thnaks

### Cluster information:

Kubernetes version:  
Client Version: v1.25.0  
Kustomize Version: v4.5.7  
Server Version: v1.26.4  
Installation method: Bare-and-metal on a VM  
Host OS: Ubuntu 22
