Cluster information:
- Kubernetes Version: 1.28.15
- Successfully Deployed Calico Versions: v3.25.2, v3.26.4
- Failed Deployments: Calico v3.27.0 and above
We are currently selecting between these two available versions for our cluster. Given the stability requirements of a production environment, we would like to seek advice on the following:
- Compared to v3.25.2, does Calico v3.26.4 offer significant advantages in terms of long-term operational stability and resource consumption (CPU/Memory)?
- For Kubernetes v1.28.15, does Calico v3.26.4 provide better compatibility support (e.g., adaptations for new APIs or features)?
- From a production stability perspective, is it more prudent to choose the longer-validated v3.25.2, or is the newer v3.26.4 a more suitable choice?
We would appreciate any suggestions or insights from those who have experience with similar setups. Thank you!
