GKE - Cannot set up automated deployment

• Using GKE Autopilot cluster.
• Set up a deployment and service using the quickstart guides GitHub - GoogleCloudPlatform/kubernetes-engine-samples: Sample applications for Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Everything is within one GCP project. images, svc, deployment.
• There is only one container
• For the deployment, click Actions- > Automated Deployment

ERROR.

The message says

Cannot set up automated deployment for a workload with multiple containers or an image from a different project.
“”"

so then I tried uploading a new nginx container to my Artifact Registry. Modified the k8s deployment to use it. No improvement.

Any ideas?
