I’m trying to collect data related to pod storage consumption. I discovered that the endpoint /api/v1/nodes//proxy/stats/summary provides neat metrics regarding storage usage, including ephemeral-storage.
However, the endpoint seems to be “unofficial/undocumented”? I could only find official-ish mentions in documentation of some rather old OpenShift versions (3.6).
So how “stable”/“reliable” is that endpoint? Will it be providing metrics in the current format in the mid- or long-term; or is it subject to change/deprecation and should not be used?
