Upgrading pv volume type to GP3 from gp2 in AWS cloud

Hi team,

Need some guidance from you guys

Cluster information:

Kubernetes version: 1.23
Cloud being used: AWS

Task- update pv to GP3 from gp2 without losing data.
Current Storage class- volume type-GP2

I have creates new storage class with type GP3.
If I update PVC with new storage class, it would create a new pv. How can we update volume type without losing data of pv ?
