Can K3OS cause users use it instead of traditional Kubernetes?

I am not sure if you can k3OS for traditional kubernetes as it is optimized for k3s. I would check the rancher slack for a better answer or their github

k3OS was designed to support the k3s project which has a bunch on k8s api’s removed and uses sqllite as it’s backing DB. So I am unsure if you’ll be able to use it as there may be dependencies missing. It would be an interesting choice for a base OS for standard k8s.
