I have overall 20 years of IT experience and about 12 years in storage. I play with linux in my free time (mostly on my laptop through VM). Kubernetes and Docker is quite interesting, and considering the current trend, it will be wise for me to move into Kubernetes/containerization, but whatever I’ve gone through till now, seems like this is more for developers or system administrators. Can someone throw some light on this? Anyone here who’s moved from storage into this field? How has the experience been?
Also, I have basic knowledge of VMWare but not much. Will that be a deterrent?
