Atlanta-based Kubernetes learner looking to connect (study group / peer learning)

Hello Everyone,

My name is Rodney and I’m based in Atlanta. I’m currently focused on building strong, hands-on skills with Kubernetes administration and cloud-native tooling, with an emphasis on understanding the fundamentals rather than just passing labs or exams. My background is in enterprise infrastructure and networking, and I’m intentionally spending time deepening my experience with Linux, containers, Kubernetes concepts, kubectl workflows, Helm, and Git/GitHub. I’m working through labs and real scenarios, but one challenge I’ve run into is learning mostly in isolation. When I get stuck — even on simpler exercises — having no one to talk through the problem with can slow progress significantly. I’ve found that learning alongside others, whether at a similar stage or with more experience, makes a big difference in understanding why things work the way they do in Kubernetes.I’m hoping to connect with:Others learning Kubernetes who want to study or practice togetherMore experienced Kubernetes users who enjoy mentoring or discussing real-world scenariosAnyone in or around Atlanta interested in informal in-person or virtual study sessionsIf you have suggestions, existing study groups, or are open to connecting, I’d really appreciate it. Looking forward to learning from and contributing to the community.

Thanks, Rodney
