Docker push to repository i/o timeout

Hi there, im new to this. Im trying to run the following example from wildfly
quickstart/todo-backend at main · wildfly/quickstart

I seem to be getting an error at this step
$ docker push localhost:60617/todo-backend:latest
The push refers to repository [localhost:60617/todo-backend]

failed to do request: Head “https://localhost:60617/v2/todo-backend/blobs/sha256:07d0de0067ea8deef5a5aa9dde9a889d5a401f2be828c77a3a0ed97888d49960”: dial tcp [::1]:60617: i/o timeout

but I lack the knowledge to troubleshoot as I am trying to learn through this example.
any help would be appreciated.

I think that port 60617 is unreachable on the localhost, you can trying test by curl tools.
