Exclude the official docs from the spam filter?

Hi I’ve been working with kuberenetes for 2 years now but I haven’t really been active in the comunity up to now.

Today I tryed to get a little more involved, after checking the general discussion section I noticed a few questions that where posted this month that did not have any replies yet. I gave a quick reply explaining how these users could fix their problems and linked to the official kubernetes docs on kubernetes io to try and helpp them on their way, but both posts have been flagged now by the auto moderator for being to promotional.

I don’t think it should be an issue to be promotional of the kubernetes docs :slight_smile:

Sorry for the delay, didn’t catch this post till today.

kubernetes.io domains are on the whitelist – the spam filter has several other things that it uses like number of links in a post vs the user’s trust level to try and pick up spammers. We try and make sure that legit posts are approved within 24hrs.
