Failed to Reserve Sandbox Name

My microk8s master node is no longer in Ready state. Looking in logs I can see:

$ sudo journalctl -u snap.microk8s.daemon-containerd

I don’t know where else to look to get to the root of the problem and fix?

The master node which won’t start is running microk8s v1.18

$ ctr -v
ctr github.com/containerd/containerd 1.3.3-0ubuntu2

Thanks in advance,
PM.

Hi can you log the issue in github? Is it possible to run and upload the inspect tarball?

Hi @balchua1, thanks for reply. I will log the issue in github as you have suggested. I might need some time to figure out how to anonymise some of the inspect tarball’s content however before uploading it to github as some of the k8s resource names within would give away info about customers so I’ll need to be GDPR compliant I guess and obfuscate things as necessary.

Posted issue in Github: https://github.com/ubuntu/microk8s/issues/1666 as suggested by @balchua1
