The Kubernetes solution for the distributed Radio Unit on the 5G radio network is very complex due to a combination of requirements as low latency, high reliability, support for acceleration cards like ACC100, etc. On top of this, Kubernetes has to be lightweight for HW constrain environments and easy to manage.
MicroK8s and Intel have shown it is possible to have everything!!
