Mixed nodes? pi3/pi4 with existing nodes?

My home test environment is currently running with a rancher docker on a random box. Then a couple ubuntu 18 vms as the nodes…

SOOOO… super random question… Is it possible to add a raspberry pi node to that same cluster? none of the containers i am using can’t run on arm. just wondering if it’s possible to add a pi 3 or 4 to create a node OUTSIDE of my vm infrastructure :slight_smile:

I know there are plenty of “all pi” clusters. haven’t seen mixed pi :slight_smile:

Yup, you should be able to do this assuming you have them networked, etc. I’ve done this before on demos running the control plane on my laptop in a VM and the pi’s as the workers.
